Copeland Law, PC was formed in 2006 to provide a complete service practice to long standing clients as well as new businesses and clientele.

Steven B. Copeland, the Founder of the firm, is a dedicated, knowledgeable and articulate litigator. Mr. Copeland has extensive trial, mediation and arbitration experience. Joining the firm of Monteleone & McCrory in 1996, he grew his practice, becoming a partner of the firm.

Mr. Copeland has spent over a decade advising business clients and is a seasoned litigator in complex construction contract disputes, representing general contractors, subcontractors and owners. Mr. Copeland has also successfully represented his clients in employment law disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and computer/internet bankruptcy disputes.

Mr. Copeland was a founding partner at Copeland Rork, LLP where he further refined his skills in litigating for his clients and helping them grow and save their long-standing businesses. Mr. Copeland has also advised food manufacturers about all aspects of their businesses including labeling laws, product design and manufacturing/distribution issues, helping guide his clients through a complex labyrinth of regulations.

His construction knowledge includes tunneling, shoring, ground freezing, installation of water lines, pump stations, water treatment facilities, paving, and many other trades. With this knowledge, he has guided many corporations through their business decisions.

Copeland Law, PC is respected as premier counsel to the construction and food manufacturing industries. Mr. Copeland has litigated complex and document intensive cases for many companies throughout the country and internationally as well. Mr. Copeland is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and has been admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as all California State and Federal Courts.

Mr. Copeland received his bachelor of arts degree with honors from Cornell University in 1993. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Southern California in 1996.
